Will The 2024 Hurricane Season Be Bad?

According to the University of Pennsylvania, the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season will produce between 27 and 39 storms, averaging out to a predicted 33 storms. Over the past three, years, their average prediction was 14.3 — so their prediction for 2024 is more than double that of recent years.

The Weather Channel agrees with this outlook, saying that this year is the “most aggressive hurricane prediction since outlooks began in 2006.”
